The Niya site is the former site of Jingjueguo during the Han and Jin Dynasties. It is scattered in an area 25 kilometers long from north to south and 5-7 kilometers wide from east to west. In this long and narrow ancient city ruins, the remnants of Buddhist temples, houses and cemeteries are scattered, and the farmland, forest belt, canal system and smelting ruins of the year are vaguely visible. It can be seen that the residents of Jingjueguo were separated by the Niya River, which passed through the city, and lived in the north and south districts, with wealthy families in the south and commoners in the north. But every home has orchards, pens, and ponds. There is a dirt pagoda in the ruins, although it is dilapidated, but the ancient style still exists. Jingjue country is located in the Taklimakan desert, on the weak side of the river, it is a small country. According to the "Han Shu Biography of the Western Regions", there are only "four hundred and eighty households, three thousand three hundred and sixty mouths, and five hundred soldiers of victory", and in the Eastern Han Dynasty "it was annexed by Shanshan, and the country was destroyed", but , South Silk Road, "all the people who come and go are from this city". The Silk Road merchants who traveled across the bridge of the Niya River brought glassware from West Asia, Greek-style artworks, cotton fabrics from India, brocade silk from the Yellow River Basin, lacquer ware, bronze mirrors and paper and other contemporary treasures to the small country and the widow. The blue-bottomed batik cotton fragments and cotton trousers unearthed from the joint tomb of the Han and Jin couples are the earliest cotton fabrics seen in my country so far. . The Kalu documents are found in the archaeology of Niya. There are 800 wooden tablets of Kalu documents unearthed in the Niya ruins. There are notices, letters and instructions, and the content covers almost every aspect of life at that time. Nia's abandonment is a mystery. Around the ruins of the ancient city, there are no signs of diversion of rivers or wars, and there are no traces of people in the houses and courtyards. A large number of official documents and slips have just been sorted out, and it is too late to transport them away. Even the loyal dogs are forgotten to be taken away, and they are tied to the pillars in front of the house. superior.
