    Original Text

There are three typical international cemeteries in Nagasaki, but because it was built before the Sakamoto International Cemetery, where many celebrities sleep, and was closed in the mid-Meiji era, almost all gravestones are gravestones. Decayed so much that you can't read the inscription I am. On the contrary, I felt that it tells the history of Nagasaki. It is similar to the foreign cemetery in Yokohama. I visited when I took a walk around Oura Catholic Church and Glover Garden. It is said that foreigners who visited Japan, which opened in the late Edo period, and died as guests are buried. It's not a tourist spot, but I think it's a good place to know the international city of Nagasaki.

It seems that the international cemetery at that time was Inasa Goshinji Temple, but it was newly opened in 1861 because it was quite far from the port, and when the vacant space here was run out, the international cemetery in the Sakamoto district was newly opened. Until It seems that this cemetery was used. The feature of this cemetery is that many foreign ship officials are buried, and the gravestones are also ...
