Great mountain view and beautiful waterfall!
If you visit on sunny day, you will see great two peaks, male and female peak, and waterfalls between in those. This area was certified as a "UNESCO echo park" in 2017, especially this mountain is cat...
It is a waterfall on the way to the top of Mt. Gyo-Mt. On days when there is a lot of rain, it is a beautiful waterfall that can be seen on the way to the trailhead and from the Higashi-Kyushu Expressway. It's a waterfall on a mountain road, so at least wear solid mountaineering shoes. You may see people climbing with sneakers, but be sure to manage yourself well.
You can go round trip from the parking lot in the mountains in about an hour. It's a pretty tight mountain trail, but it's worth the trip even if you overdo it a little. I don't think there are many other places where you can see such a big waterfall from the bottom. (On the day I went, kindergarten students came on an excursion. Awesome.)
It takes about 30 minutes by car from downtown Noveoka. It is a place where you can meet after climbing for about an hour. You have to walk a little, but it is worth it. It is also selected as one of the 100 Japanese waterfall lines. The scenery is good, the air is good, and it is worth a visit.
Follow the mountain trail from the precincts of Gyoko Shrine.

There is a bus service to Gyoko Shrine, which is the starting point for the trail, and you can go there without a car. The mountain trail has large granite and is difficult to walk, but you can see Gyokoyama and Gyoko Waterfall for the first time from the magnificent Takimi Bridge. Further along the mountain trail, you will find a bulletin board that displays the row and waterfalls (be careful as it is easy to overlook when going down the mountain). You will arrive directly under the waterfall in a few minutes on the road divided into the left hand. The waterfall at height 77 m falls like water slides down on a monolith. Just below the waterfall, see this waterfall ...
