Suharajuku is a water boat village, and there is nothing to see compared to Narai, Magome, and Tsumagojuku. There is a remnant of an old post station. Compared to other inns, there are many shops along the national highway.
If you want to see the former post town of Nakasendo along National Highway No. 19, I think most of them go to Narai next to Magome and Tsumago. Therefore, it was a really small village without tourists. Somehow, it has the remnants of the old days, but the honest impression is that there is not much to see.
When you get off the station, you will find a water boat with a popping. Since it is a post town, the roadway is wide, and there is a river between the house and the roadway, so it is a townscape that cannot be seen anywhere else. There is water that can be drunk only in one place. The temple called "Joshoji" on the way has a taste and is very nice.
A post town that I stopped by for sightseeing in Kiso's Green Season. I'm not sure where to go, but there was also Suharajuku on the old road around Joshoji Temple. There are old houses left as they are, and the wooden frames in the windows remind us of the old appearance. Also, Joshoji Temple is very beautiful, so I feel that this is more recommended than around Suhara Station.

I'm a little lonely.
There aren't many shops, and the quiet atmosphere I think it used to be lively. It doesn't take much time to see it.
There are remnants around joshoji Temple!
