Geodetic
Just a sign and replica in the city park of osborne. The original is on private property about 18 miles away that you can't access.
Great place to say you visited
This was a quick trip when we saw the sign. Cute little church and an older hotel - not a working hotel - are also there.
Just a marker in the park, but worth seeing if you're into geography.
My husband is a geographer/cartographer, so this was a must see. We went out of our way to see it and I'm glad we did. It's a nice marker and sign that explains its' significance.
Memorial Day
Well, it is not actually reachable as it is on private property but the marker has to be enough. The thought of it being the point where all surveyors consider "0" in the US is amazing. But you have ...

Historical Marker....interestingly this is the point that all surveys are benchmarked from. This is not the center of the usa which is close by but not here.
