A hidden gem off the highway
A small but great provincial park. Free to enter, lots of parking available with the option to drive through most of it or park and walk. Not a lot of trails, but a few options. Beautiful, tall trees ...
quick stroll thru the park and a quick picnic near the roadside, it was not the best experience,,it seems to be under used and the flies were a bit bad there. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE.
The park features walking trails, fields, and camping spots. It's right by the river and not too far off the exit from the highway. Great for parties, picnics, and walks. Great place to bring your dog...
