Seti River Park
not very big
There is a milky river inside
Walk on the left to go around
There is a deep canyon below
Milky white is because the water contains calcium carbonate
According to the tour guide
There are many rivers of this color here
The park is just part of the convenience to visit
Follow the signs to the left entrance
There will be a local old man waiting
There is a bucket of water next to it
The old man motioned to touch the left and right cheeks with water
Then he will point a red dot in the center of your forehead
This is free
So don't worry
Just across the road from the Gurkha Army Memorial Hall is a seti river gorge (Seti River gorge) for a fee, and the entrance fee is 25 rupees. The scenic spots here have not been recorded in the world or LP, but they are really the best place to see the exquisiteness of the Seti River-and it is an unplanned scenic spot. The Seti River means white river in Nepali, because the rocks near the riverbed are mostly calcareous so that the river water is also milky white. The narrow riverbed is only a few meters wide, and the milky-white river rushes in, like a high-pressure water jet, cutting the calcareous rock deeply to a depth of more than ten meters. It is really amazing natural force. Turning to the north side of the city, the surface of the Seti River suddenly widened here, and a long chain bridge stretched across the banks, which is an important way for local people to travel. The scenery is good but there are few foreign tourists.
This river is very special, mainly reflected in its milky white color. It winds from the northwest of Pokhara and can be seen from a distance on the mountain road and platform to watch the sunrise from Fishtail Peak. It is like a glacier, forming a strong visual difference with the surrounding green vegetation.
It is worth going, the scenery is very good, the environment is very good, the river is very clear, and the snow on the Himalayas is serial in the canyon.
The Seti River of Pokhara rushes across Pokhara, but if you don’t look specifically at it, you won’t see it. The river splits a deep and narrow gorge in the city center, so the water here is very turbulent. Someone is drifting and looks good.
