    Nice small clean beach

    Nice small clean beach. Just oud side town but not that far. We saw this place when we where driving and thougt we go there a moment. We did have luck finding a parking place.

    That’s special

    Wonderful place, just near Ponta Delgada, but amazing sea to see, to swim, to walk around... to chat a bit, to drink a wine, to read, to think... amazing!

    Very nice

    The beach is a Bit small but very clean and you have everything you Need. There is a nice Restaurant close to The Beach.

    Black sand beach near Ponta Delgada

    We love this beach but the sea is a bit rough, so be careful when swimming in the Ocean. This is a very well known spot for local surfers.

    Wonderful beach.

    Locals refer as Praia do Populo to two beaches next to each other. Praia do Populo Grande is called Praia das Milícias on the map (google). Many pictures in this entry of TA are of Praia das Milícias....
