My young daughters and I loved visiting the museum. The light from inside of the light house was their personal favorite. But we also really enjoyed the scale model of the old town.
Doesn’t look like much on the outside but Lots of artifacts, curator very knowledgeable. Free admission, but have a donation box. Check it out when in town, open Monday through Saturday. Don’t be che...

A special place with special people. I have nothing but good things to say about the Calhoun County Museum in Port Lavaca.
Great place to stop and explore.
