Great park messed up by homeless, posters and graffiti...typical Portland
We walked the whole length and it has wonderful river views. It is also the pathway to the Oregon Maritime Museum which is a good venue to visit. Lots of homeless in the park. Stay out after dark u...
One would think for all the money the city spent on this walkway, they would maintain it, clean it and the surrounding area, and do something about the homeless... or maybe that's a Portland Thing?
Not hilly but in the heart of the city and offers paths crossing the river and making a terrific loop. The cityscape is well owrth every minute you spend.
I had 10 km. running along Willamette river walk. I like the way of connection and also cherry blossom along downtown river bank. However, a lot of homeless can be found.
