Quaint and enchanting seem from shore.
We viewed Cuckold Lighthouse from the Southport town landing, which in itself is a wonderful site with fantastic views. The lighthouse is one of the most charming that I've seen in Maine.
Visit.
Private property now. No visitors allowed. Could see it from parking lot for pictures but could not get close.
Calm space, beautiful views
My husband and I did not stay at the Cuckold Lighthouse (though you can), but we wanted to come by and see it, and I'm so glad we did. There is a small parking area, and then you walk out onto a reall...
Beautiful Scene
The view of this lighthouse was one of my favorite painting scenes while I was in the Boothbay Harbor area. It was always windy and just slightly hazy and quite energizing and inspirational!
A beautiful spot to visit
and even better if you can stay overnight at "The Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse", which is a luxurious operation! Exceeded all of our expectations for our visit
