雲隱寺

Qingyi Ancient Temple, formerly known as Yunyin Temple. According to legend, the ancient temple often has auspicious clouds, clouds and mist are looming, so it is called "Yunyin Temple". Because it is located on the shore of Qingyi Lake, people also called it Qingyi Temple, now known as Qingyi Ancient Temple. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Yunyin Temple was full of incense. It is said that after the Ming Dynasty Jianwen Emperor was seized by Yan Wang Zhu Ying (Ming Chengzu), he wandered the rivers and lakes and cut his hair as a monk. He once hid in Yunyin Temple. In 1852, Wang Yangxiu Qing, the east of the Taiping Army, entered the army through Xiang, and burned the ancient temple of Qinghui near the soldiers. Only one temple remained. The temple was preserved until the mid-20th century, along with the new temple that was built later. In 1956, Qingyi Ancient Temple was demolished and converted into the current Qingyi Elementary School in Hongshan District, Wuhan, leaving a ruined mountain gate in the compound of Wuchang District Detention Center, Wuhan Public Security Bureau.
