Located on the Main Square (Hauptplatz) in Ried im Innkreis, Dietmarbrunnen is the center. The well system in baroque style houses the staue of Dietmar, the legendary founding father of Ried.

If you just follow the Burnhof Strasse, which extends from the front of Reit station, you will enter the old city. Unfortunately, the day I visited was a cold and light rainy Sunday in winter, the stores were closed, and there were no townspeople taking a walk, but even on such bad weather days, Hauptplatz left the remnants of Altostadt. It was a beautiful square surrounded by buildings.

A source of history, or legend - I would only recommend in combination with a city leadership, otherwise it doesn't make much sense.
