Commending the achievements of the true circle pearl cultivation
Original Text
About 3 minutes walk from Kenjima station. Standing in Maruyama Park. A stone monument that commends the achievements of Fujiyoshi Nishikawa, Kokichi Mikimoto, and Tatsuhira Mise, who have made great achievements in the cultivation of Maen pearls. It was built in 1957 by the National Pearl Aquaculture Fisheries Cooperative to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the invention of the true circle pearl. The spherical stone on top may be a pearl motif.
From Kintetsu Kenjima Station, walk to the pleasure boat stop and go up from there in Maruyama Park. It's a magnificent monument, but if you have time, I think you'll stop by 〇
It is located in Maruyama Park, which climbs the slope from Kintetsu Kenjima Station. After a hard time, it is a monument to commend the achievements of 3 who developed the cultivation technology of pearls that became a ball. It is also a good place to see Ago Bay where pearls are cultivated.

It is located in a corner of Maruyama Park near Kenjima Station. It is a Shotoku monument that commends the achievements of Fujiyoshi Nishikawa, Kokichi Mikimoto, and Tatsuhira Mise, who contributed to the development of pearl aquaculture technology. Unlike the pearl shell memorial tower in the same park, there is an information board here and it is a tourist friendly place. It is located in a place with a good view of Kenjima Port, and the stone in the middle of the Shotoku Monument imitates pearls is very beautiful and shines in the scenery.
It was posted on TripAdvisor, so I visited it. The monument was very big and very nice. At first I didn't know what monument it was, but when I went nearby, there was an explanation.
