You can travel to the top of the lighthouse
The lighthouse is open to climb to the top. However, it is fairly rustic and narrow. Not for the claustrophobic
HISTORY SPOT
I'm all about learning the history of the places I visit. The lighthouses on the great lakes play and have played a large role in maritime safety and trade.
Interesting site to visit
We drove all the way from the airport to see this lighthouse. You can get all the way up to see beautiful views. Kids loved it. Also took small path leading to lakefront beach- great views
Very enjoyable
We all enjoyed looking around the lighthouse and some of the family even took the circular stairs to look out the top.
Nice look out
We walked to the top 3 of us. No pace for more then four people at the top. Call down the stairs so others wait for you to come down, no pace to pass on stairs. Quick up. Widows are plexiglass so ...
