Incredible view from there
Queen Anne’s garden is really a peaceful and pretty garden on the south side of the castle, easily accessible in the castle’s courtyard. The Queen Anne Garden, was built sometime in the early 1400s. ...
We visited in late winter/early spring and enjoyed the narcissi that were in flower. The hsitoriscope in the gardens was interesting in showing what the castle used to look like.
Whilst not the main event at Stirling castle, the gardens are well worth a look around,. The back drop of the castle helps the overall picture. Very pretty at the time we visited
The gardens are on the tour and would look resplendent in summer. Very historic.and tidy. A large tree and good views. Then you climb the steps and enjoy looking down on the historic view.

Beautiful views of Bannockburn field
A lovely well-maintained garden of historical significance. Very peaceful in the shelter of the castle defences.
