It is free admission but they accept donations. We have three adults, two children and donated $20, which is much cheaper than going to the zoo or other children's area. Generally, the museum is not very big overall, but the layout they have makes it feel cramped even with 50 children. They have lockers for storage, stroller parking and small cafes. My only downside is that parking is hard to find depending on the date/time you are going and there is no mother-only care area if needed. I personally don’t mind finding a nurse, but I do know that some mothers are more comfortable with privacy.

Tacoma Children's Museum is an interactive playroom, mainly playing in the water, children should wear the museum's waterproof clothing to understand the process of water cycle, you can learn to paint watercolors.
