Titanium rich but poor, two-year-olds chase debris, coins, anything on tour buses, (memo to tour companies, tell guests to bring some candy or change) The wildlife sanctuary show is impressive, once you accept they are not wild lemurs, They're domesticated like your pet cats. Nahampoana Reserve We arrive by cruise ship. At the port exit is a temporary taxi booth. There are a variety of taxi rental options available, everything is within your plan for the day. We hired 4x4 vehicles, drivers and guides for $80, excluding tips and admission fees. The road to Nahampoana was bumpy, so stick with it! It is scenic and takes you through the countryside. The reserve is a beautiful, beautiful garden with neatly manicured. Set in the background of a rocky cliff. Expect to see turtles, lemurs (3 species) alligators, chameleons and lizards, yes, you read it right. It is controversial and unexpected. Just consider the extreme poverty around you and make up your mind how to react to the animals on display.
