i enshrin chikafusa kitabatake.
Original Text
It is a shrine in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. It looks like a small shrine, but this is a shrine that enshrines Chikafusa Kitabatake and Akinobu Kitabatake (the second son of Chikafusa and the younger brother of Akiie) in the southern court during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Chikafusa Kitabatake is a court noble & busho (Japanese military commander) of the southern court who was very active for Emperor Godaigo. It is not famous compared to Masanari Kusunoki and Yoshisada Nitta, but as a powerful aide to Emperor Godaigo, he gained the trust that he was called "later Sanbo" along with Sadafusa Yoshida and Nobufusa Marikoji. As a southern court side, he fought hard in Oshu domain Kanto and others ...
A prayer information board was installed at Kitahata Shrine, which was quietly located in an unsightseeing residential area. It seems to be a shrine praying for all the benefits
After enjoying the autumn leaves of the mountain temple, it seemed to be close, so I went there. It was a small shrine, but I thought the vermilion roof was rare. I think it's a good idea to stop by after sightseeing in Yamadera.
It is a shrine located about 5 minutes by car from Yamadera. There were many cherry farmers around. This shrine was built in September 1918 and is a relatively new shrine around Tendo and Yamagata. In 1918, the car was sometimes parked at the time of Prince Chichibugu (Jungu) and Takamatsugu (Kogu) and Yamadera Gosei.

The vermilion roof left an impression on me.
