I visited on Saturday during the off-season in February. There were more shops that were closed for lunch than I expected, and I was able to find a shop that was open on the signboard immediately after leaving the harbor. Even the shops listed in the guidebook may be temporarily closed, so it is recommended to check here. There was also a paid bicycle rental. There was also a manga in the waiting room. Hand knitted cushions on the bench? There were also lined up, and I could see the feelings of tourists on the island.
I arrived at Ieura Port by ferry during the Setouchi Triennale, so it was a small but very lively port with many people. The guide to the island bus was also made with a poster that wrote the time and was devised in an easy-to-understand manner.
It is a terminal in Toshima. There are only vending machines inside. Numbered tickets will be distributed during the crowded period, so it is recommended to line up early.
The entrance to Toshima. Ferry tickets can be purchased from 15 or 20 minutes in advance. There are chairs in the waiting room and outside. I only saw cats on the island, but there is Chihuahua in this port. I'm quiet without barking. There is another dog. It seems that it is a dog of the person who works here, and the islanders told me. The high-speed pier crosses the pier. It was like walking on the sea.
