Beutiful but very slow line
I set off this "epic" trip at the time of school holidays when I could utilise the Sieshun 18 Kippu ticket (One day costs 2360 Yen) which is valid only on local and rapid train, great for lines where ...
I am a student in Iida City. On the way back from school, I detoured to Chiyo Station, an unexplored station. I heard from a person who lives in a house in front of the station, and he kindly taught me the history of the station. The weather was sunny and the scenery was good that day, and I had a very good time. However, I went down from the station to the direction of the Tenryu River, but I couldn't understand the way back to the station even though it was a little far from the station on the way back. I managed to catch the train on my way home, but it was already past 4 o'clock in the evening ...

I only got on a short section on the Toyohashi station side after visiting Toyokawa Inari, so I don't know the full-scale unexplored section, but I felt that the large number of stations was convenient for users, but it took too long. Even if it was not possible to be slow because of the problem of the track condition, the stop time of the unmanned station was too long. Moreover, the waiting for replacement unique to a single line overlaps, and the boarding time is longer than the distance, so it seems that it is "management" that seems to be reluctant to speed up any further.
I went to Shinshiro, but it takes time because there are many stations. Also, since this area is still an ordinary countryside and is not an unexplored region, it is boring to ride.
The Iida Line is famous for its unexplored station. Use from Toyohashi Station to Yuya Onsen Station. This section didn't feel like an unexplored area. Most of them are unmanned stations.
