A park surrounded by public facilities such as the center of Yamaguchi City, government offices, museums and schools. Not only the top of the hill where the bronze statue stood, but also the children's playground and tennis courts with a large scale spread in the northeast foot. It's a bit hard to climb on the hill, but I thought it was an oasis facility in the center of the city.
A park with a good view in Kameyama CHO, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Six statues of Takachika Mori and others were built in the site where Nagayama Castle was located during the Sengoku period (period of Warring States), and after that, a bronze statue erecting project to honor the achievements of the Choshu domain during the Meiji Restoration. It seems that it was a rare Western-style statue at that time. However, unfortunately, during the Second World War, these statues were used as weapons materials, only the pedestal was left, and only the statue of Takachika Mori was rebuilt. Very ...
The former 々 had a statue of the head of the Mori family of 6.

I stopped by on the way back from sightseeing at Xavier Memorial Cathedral. The top of a small hill is a flat square, and there is a statue of Takachika Mori, the lord of the Mori head family at the end of the Edo period. It is said that the former 々 had a statue of the head of the Mori family branch family of the total 6, but it has disappeared from the copper offering during the 2 World War II. The square was barely maintained and only the statue of Takachika Mori was reproduced.
The history of reaching the park is interesting. It is indispensable for education.

[Points to be highly evaluated] Why did it become a park? Since I couldn't try to build a castle instead of a castle ruin, I was highly evaluated by my ancestors' attitude to make the site a park. The park is large, and the intellectual property of the cathedral and Yamaguchi gathers in the museum in the museum. [Points to be evaluated low] None
Very pleasant place
It is a huge park in and around a Kameyama Hill. It is very well maintained, and so you cannot lose your way. The view from the top is very beautiful.
