Yongning Mountain Ancient Village

Yongning Ancient Village is located in the north of the former US "Chen Cixi's Former Residence" in Chenghai Longdu, Shantou City, Guangdong Province. Chen Huixian was built between 43 to 48 years (1704 to 1709) due to the business of shipping. It is a square giant village covering an area of 10333 square meters. It integrates various traditional tidal houses and forms a connected residential complex. It has some significance for the study of the tidal building form in the early Qing Dynasty.

Yongning Mountain, also known as Dashiloutai Mountain, is located 28 kilometers south of Zhidan County, south Baoyongning Town, north of Santai Mountain; overlooking the dumplings, backed by Yingpan Mountain; the Luo River, surrounded by its side; belongs to the Ziwuling vein, the altitude is 1312 meters; it is east-west, long 2.2 kilometers, wide 1.5 kilometers, all red sandstone. According to the "Security County Zhi", before the Song Dynasty, its mountains were stone by mountain quality, similar to buildings, and there was a platform chiselled on it, and the name was "stone platform". Especially the geographical location is dangerous, which has always been a must-win place for the soldiers, and it is the military fortress that controls the ancient road of Luohe in the Northern Song Dynasty. In the war, Yongning Mountain was safe and never lost, and the indigenous people thought that "forever peace" was also called Yongning Mountain.

Yongning Mountain Ancient Village is 1312 meters above sea level, east-west direction, long 2.2 kilometers, wide 1.5 kilometers, all red sandstone, the mountain beams protruding into the Luohe River, Luohe surrounded its east, west, south three sides, the mountain head is independent, cliff cliffs, early in the Song Dynasty to prevent the northern army and southern invasion, This military village was built on the mountain. The ancient village was built in the foothills, at an altitude of thousands of meters, and the mountains were cut into buildings. The scenery was wonderful. No tickets have been charged so far.
