Salar de Uyuni is known as the “Mirror of the Heavens” and is located in Bolivia. During the rainy season from December to February each year, the hard and dry salt flat is covered with water, becoming like a mirror and reflecting the blue sky during the day. It is both magical and unique. At sunrise and sunset, both the sky and the earth turn red; it is a spectacular sight. On a clear night, while staying in a hotel constructed from salt blocks, waiting for the starry sky, you can watch the salt flat reflect the stars; it's like you are floating in the middle of the mysterious universe.
Cactus Island is a small island in the center of Uyuni Salt Lake. It is called Cactus Island because it is full of cactus, but this Spanish name means the island of fish, because it looks like a fish from a distance. A very special island, I can't help but think about how these towering cacti wandered here, and how to start such barbaric growth.
