It also had a great view point for taking pictures of the downtown City. Be sure to check it out for the view after dark or at sunset great photo opportunities then.

Across the banks of the Brisbane River, across the bridge is South Bank Park, and the Queensland Cultural Center is at the head of the bridge. Get off the bridge and walk towards the Queensland Library. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the wharf of the Miramar boat bound for the Lone Pine Koala Center. Standing on the bridge head and looking across the banks, the scenery is still good.
