Interesting museum at the College of the Atlantic

Nice place to visit for anyone interested in ecology or nature. Located on school grounds operated with the help of the students. The college is located on Eden Street on the waterfront.

    Dorr Museum

At the college, the Dorr Museum is managed by students. We were impressed by their work and as a retired educator, I loved seeing the hands-on stuff! Great little museum and LOVELY campus.

Worth the visit. Great dioramas of nature with birds, fox, and other native animals. Also has a marine touch tank.

Realistic diorama glass cases of Maine wildlife and a marine touch tank. Children will love visiting this museum.

    Wonderful place to stop!

Before going to Diver Ed's Dive-in Theater, stop in this museum. Well appointed and curated and my 8 year old could have looked around for hours.
