    Hidden Map Museum

    Original Text

The contents of the exhibition are wonderful. The maps of ancient and modern East and West are still on display. It was a very fun time with an easy-to-understand explanation by the Z curator. If you read the caption, use the rental loop to see the details of the map, it will take a few hours in no time. As I had in my impressions, it is difficult to understand the location even though it is a museum of history of maps. Besides the map, the location is good with a superb view and ...

    の Initial visit after modification

    Original Text

I came here before when it was open only on weekdays. I revisited for the first time when it was renovated and opened on weekends. The price was 1,000 yen, and the inside has changed a lot. There was also a place where I could take some pictures. It is easier to understand if you take the elevator from the National Highway 199 side (JR railroad side) outside the building rather than going up after entering the riverwalk building. Admission ticket is also holder and Map Design Galler ... in 1F

The lighting of the exhibition is dark. It is recommended to go directly from the 1 floor.

Visited on 12 Month 25 Day. The point of note when going here is that you don't have to hesitate to go from the entrance on the first floor. 4 If you follow the guide sign on the floor, you will enter NHK and go around. There is no sign at the essential part on the way, and when you look back, it is a trick that is in the shadow of the wall. That is play when it comes to play at the map shop. Are you experiencing the need for a map here ... ?? The exhibition room is divided into 3 and if you take a closer look, 2 It takes about an hour and a half ...

I finally got to see it.

    Original Text

It is a map museum on the 14th floor of the Zenrin Headquarters Building on the west side of Kokura Station. It seems that the correct way to get there is to take the elevator to the 4 floor of the river walk and access it by the connecting passage and elevator from there. There were many exhibitions related to Japanese maps in the museum, and there were 々 exhibitions from old maps produced by Tadataka Ino and foreigners to new maps made during the Showa and Heisei periods. Also, because it is located at a high building, the view is good and I think it was a place to enjoy. Several times so far ...
