D33***28It's heaven on earth... Inside the lake is like a journey to another dimension. To my fellow Filipinos, go no farther, visit Kayangan lake while in Coron.
JayveeIf you want to go the the best viewpoint in Coron, Mt. Tapyas is a place to be. It’s highly recommended to visit in the afternoon to witness an incredible sunset in the island. Unlike most tourist spots, Mt. Tapyas has no entrance fee. It’s reachable by a 10 minute tricycle ride from Coron town. From the entrance, it will take you 721 steps to reach the peak which is roughly 30 minutes depending on your speed. Along the way, there are locals selling bottled water and refreshments to get you hydrated during the hike. Once you reach the summit, there’s a “CORON” signage that resembles the Hollywood sign in California. Mt. Tapyas is really a must-see once you visit Coron.
kikiwiwi see the worldThere are many coral gardens in Palawan, whether El Nido or Coron Island. Because in the Palawan Islands, it seems that all the beautiful coral colonies that are found in patches by the locals will be called coral gardens. Coral Garden is one of them. Because it is far away from Coron Island, the sea has good visibility, and you can see the colorful living corals and fish in the corals to the greatest extent.
tiramisu1130The marine ecology here is pretty good. The water quality and visibility are quite good. Incarnate as a fish. Many small fish accompany me. Just like this, they fall to the bottom of the sea and see the depth of tens of meters underwater, as if they can drag you into the infinite deep blue of the deep sea. At this moment, only the sea and I are swimming in the underwater world. It feels so amazing. This is really a sacred place for diving!
The Coron mentioned in this album refers to the Calamian Islands with Coron Town as the center, and it is located in the far north area of Palawan. This is a world-class shipwreck diving paradise. At least 10 sunken Japanese ships and merchant ships can be found in these waters. You can get there by transiting in Manila from China.
As the north of Palawan has only recently made its debut on the traveler radar, you can find a gem out there. If Coron isn’t already on your Bucket List, then get a pen ready! What used to be a sleepy fishing town is slowly waking up to welcome tourists to explore.Coron has natural wonders that defy logic and make you question reality. Swim through underwater mountains, visit hidden lagoons, snorkel over otherworldly reefs, lounge on baby powder sand beaches- the adventures never stop.Explore the best things to do in Coron like the Barracuda Lake, Lake Kayangan, Twin Lagoons, Siete Pecados, Malcapuya Island, Bulog Island, Banana Island and Mt Tapyas to name a few.

Malcapuya Island is a environmental beauty. It's idyllic white sand strip is perfect for a day of tanning and splashing about in the cool water.Rather than reggae bars and guesthouses, you have jungle forests and pre-packed picnics. There are huts for accommodation too.The beach is usually very quiet, which means there is more space for you and your photo opportunities. No matter if you’re working with a smartphone or a professional camera, every shot turns out super Instagram-worthy. The pristine white sand and crystal clear water is the pride of this place. Coconut trees surrounds the island too. This island is a gem. Have it in your travel goals too.

Coron Island is located a 30-minute boat ride from the town on Busuanga Island and is home to many of the top sights in Coron. Here you can find Twin Lagoons, Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, and many stunning beaches and smaller lagoons.
Coron Town is a fishing village with a population is just over 40,000 but it is becoming more and more popular tourist every year. Coron is often listed as one of the top tourist places in the Philippines. The Palawan was recently named the most beautiful island in the world and we’d have to agree.

You’ll catch glimpses of Mt. Tapyas while you’re out on the boats in Coron Bay and might wonder what’s going on up there. You can find out if you’re willing to climb a set of stairs that stretches 210-meters into the clouds. It is a 700 steps climb. As you ascend, you’ll pass plenty of fatigued travelers still with a smile on their face as each step gives you an even more gorgeous view of the island. At the top of Mt. Tapyas is a huge Christian cross that someone has actually been determined enough to carry up the mountain! The final view gives you an unprecedented glimpse down on to small villages, Coron bay, and the layout of the islands that surrounds it. Totally worth the hike especially during sunset. The view is like a painting wonderfully made.

If you’re ready to make all of your friends and family extremely jealous, then forget include Bulog Island in your list. The sand is perfectly powdery and white, the water is a beautiful ombre that fades from a clear crystal to a bright turquoise, and the scenery is what Instagram dreams are made of. When the tide is low, a fresh sandbar appears where you can take those coveted jumping photos that make you look like your floating in the middle of the ocean. And, if that wasn’t enough, the way the catamarans line up on the beach looks like something out of sight. The view is great to behold.Bulog Island is a must-see destination while visiting Coron Palawan.

I've been to Coron twice already but I will never get tired of this place. The beach, the heat of the sun, and the friendly locals. Coron is one of the 7,107 islands in the Philippines. #merrychristmas
