About Dehong: The Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture (德宏傣族景颇族自治州) is located in the south of Yunnan Province. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful riverbank vistas as they meander along the historic Burma Road. Ruili, found in the region, gets its name from the Ruili River in Western Yunnan. Ancient Buddhist structures, including the Jiele Big Golden Pagoda and the Hansa Zangfang Temple, which are full of ethnic characteristics, can be visited here. Dehong is now considered a tourist destination for those visiting China’s southwestern borderland.
