Their matcha croissant is a true highlight. It’s wonderfully flaky on the outside and generously filled with smooth, creamy matcha that melts beautifully with every bite, definitely a must-try for matcha lovers.

The coconut latte is another standout, offering a refreshing twist with its light coconut aroma that pairs really well with the coffee.

Taiping was calling, so I answered with a sun-soaked stroll at the legendary Taiping Lake Gardens 🌳☀️ This spot is all about lush vibes—picture endless greenery, peaceful waters, and a chill atmosphere away from the crowds. If you crave serene outdoor moments, it’s pure gold.

Must-See Place:
Taiping Lake Gardens (Jalan Pekeliling, Taman Tasik Taiping, 34000 Taiping, Perak, Malaysia)
Open daily from 8:00am to 10:00pm, making it perfect for sunrise walks or sunset views.

What’s the vibe?
During my visit, the gardens felt practically untouched—no tourists, no noisy families, just me, the grass, giant trees, and sunlight bouncing off the lake. When you want somewhere truly peaceful, this spot delivers. Look out for dreamy reflections in the water, and bring a camera for nature close-ups. Honestly, it’s a rare escape if you’re tired of busy city parks!

Top hacks:
– Come early or stay late for quiet hours (it opens 8am-10pm).
– Pack your own snacks/picnic; there aren’t many food stalls inside.
– It’s all walking, so wear comfy shoes and consider renting a bike for a breezy scenic loop.

Getting around:
Taiping is super walkable if you’re near the gardens, and Grab rides are easy for getting to/from your hotel.
