gracewyinLake Ticabo ( Lake Tekapo) is located in the Southern Alps Mountains and is a famous glacial lake on the South Island of New Zealand. The unique Turkish Blue Lakefront, with snow-white mountains surrounded by four sides, forms a beautiful view. In addition to being a famous attraction in New Zealand, this is the first town in the world listed as a "Star Sky Nature Reserve" by UNESCO. The salmon 🍣 here is also very delicious. Visitors can try the local salmon, very fresh and delicious!
望京小筑Lake Tekapo (Lake Tekapo): The second largest lake in the northern part of the McKinch basin, which flows from north to south, is recharged by the Godley River, which is 700 meters above sea level and has a watershed area of 83 square kilometers. Located between Christchurch and Queenstown, the famous tourist city of South Island, New Zealand, lies in the heart of the Cook Mountain Basin and MacKenzie. Beautiful, charming lake of Tikapo surrounds trees and snowy white covered by golden sun, endless snowy mountains. Lake Tecabo and the smaller nearby lakes Alexandrina, McGregor and Conway are great places to catch brown and rainbow rays in the right season. In the winter, the town of Tecabo hosts a large number of skiers
pxy0705Lake Matheson is a very quiet and elegant lake on the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island. The water here is very calm and clear. On a clear day, it is like a huge mirror reflecting the surrounding forest and sky. It's very beautiful, and I can't tell if it is a reflection or a real sight.
pxy0705Lake Tekapo is formed by the eruption of a volcano, so it is also rich in geothermal resources. There are many hot springs, and the middle age is misty. You can enjoy the hot springs here. Warmth and curative effect, very comfortable, it is definitely worth experiencing.

The Church of the Good Shepherd on the shores of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand is a small Anglican church used by various denominations. Built in 1935 as a memorial church to commemorate early settlers, it is one of the most photographed items in the country. On 5 September 1985, the building was registered by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust (now Heritage New Zealand) as a Category I structure, with register number 311.The Church of the Good Shepherd is one of the most photographed items in New Zealand; photography within the building is no longer permitted as it interfered with worship.
On a quiet night, I wandered around the wild field and the southern light bursted out at that moment fur away behind the Mt.Cook
Church of the Good Shepherd
Personally feel this place is so romantic as it located on the shores of Lake Tekapo. Walk around the Church and found there is dog statue also, another spot to visit. A must visit if you are in Lake Tekapo area. #wintergetaway
The lake is so beautiful..it attracted me to keep looking it without getting bored. During the sunset, the lake surrounding became golden colour that brought to another scenery. In the early morning, I walked to lakeside and was sitting there with blank mind..relax and calm.
We stay a night in this hotel and had a great experience. The reason we selected this hotel is we have a mountain view of mt.cook. We can have the mountain view at anytime at the balcony or inside the room. Great experience and recommended. #wintergetaway
Mt Cook 1st Bridge
We took quite sometime to reach the first bridge as we walked up quite slow. The track is not bad and there were many visitors so we have no worry get lost. When we arrived the first bridge the scenery is superb and really worth to visit.#wintergetaway
Lake Tekapo in the south island of new zealand is one of the most popular lake in the country. A stunning place with a natural fresh air and natural water, you may even drink directly from the lake and you can taste the pure water of New Zealand. During winter it can be very cold but the snowy mountain background offset that massively. What a beautiful place ! #wintergetaway
Mount Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand,it is also a favourite challenge for mountain climbers.
Lake Tekapo is my favorite spot in South New Zealand, it is always surrounded by snowy mountains and it's also part of a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve.
