Mind-blowing museum in
This is absolutely mind-blowing!!! One of the best museums in North America I've ever been to. My son is fascinated about dinosaurs and history. Lots of exhibits and interesting displays, allowing us to spend at least 3 hours to explore. We enjoyed the time and appreciated the efforts and works that all the researchers and staff put together. Worthwhile to drive from Calgary to make a visit. #drumheller #familytrip
Drummheller, the famous dinosaur fossil discovery site in Canada, saw the famous Albertosaurus. The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology is the most comprehensive one I have ever seen. You can also participate in the fossil "excavation" activity, go to the mountain outside the museum, maybe you will find a dinosaur bone, but you really have to remember to turn over and don't take it home~ This is a good place to bring children. local.
There is also a Guinness record in the town, "the world's largest dinosaur", can not climb a few layers to climb into the mouth of the dinosaur, through the Tyrannosaurus Rex look at the town scenery, not bad.
In the afternoon, I returned to the Cowboy Festival. The time difference made me sleepy at the big show in the evening. The sudden bloom of the fireworks suddenly brought me back from the dream, and the ending of the Cowboy Festival was amazing.

When you walk out of the museum, you can reach the "Trail of the Fossil Hunters" without any effort, and explore the wonderful and ancient rock formations and fossils in this evil land like the Yadan landform. Floor. With your eyes wide open, you may encounter unexpected fossils with dinosaurs or other Cretaceous creatures.

Badlands and dinosaurs
Drumheller is a town around 110km away from Calgary and is known for its quirky rock formations and massive dinosaur museum. If you drive, you should be there in a little more than an hour.
Start your day off by visiting the hoodoos, which are weird rock formations that look they were stacked on top of each other. Be careful while visiting as these rocks were shaped after many years and so they are delicate. At the top of the hill is a lovely view of the vast surrounding badlands and prairies.
Next head to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, which features a huge collection of dinosaur fossils and bones. It's very striking to see all of them in life size form and also to realize that they use to roam where you are standing. Whereas other museums usually feature a few select dinosaur fossils, this museum has a very varied collection.
Overall, Drumheller is not to be missed. It's just outside of Calgary and is home to a lovely natural beauty as well as historic dinosaur remains. A definite good day trip!

Seventy-five million years ago, Canadas Badlands used to be a subtropical paradise filled with tall palm trees, huge ferns, and towering red mountains, and the tyrannosies here were dinosaurs that once dominated the global terrestrial ecosystem. . When I was embarking on this once-rich soil, I felt the great impact of the world's changes. The terrain here is already barren, such as the surface of the moon is generally ridiculous, and because of this, it was named as evil land.
Looking at the ridiculously bare landmarks in the distance, there are no vegetation, no beautiful scenery, some are just a little lonely and unspeakable bleak.
Sometimes it's hard to imagine that it used to be so prosperous and now it's so desolate. But here are all kinds of bizarre stone pillars, mountain peaks, colored rocks and a large number of dinosaur fossils that have been discovered, telling us how rich and beautiful it is here. But because of this, it also attracts the curiosity of every visitor and archaeologist, looking for lost memories and irreparable desolation.
So in this bad place, there are Dinosaur Provincial Park Dinosaur Park and Royal Tyrrell Museum Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology, so that more curious visitors can experience the prosperity and defeat of the dinosaur world until Perish.

World's Largest Dinosaur
Such a cool experience. The dinosaur is huge. We dropped by when we were heading to the Royal Tyrell Museum. There's a stair to go up to the top of the dinosaur to see the city view from its mouth. This is quite fun and an adventurous activity for kids. There are quite a few dinosaurs in the area as well. Take a quick stroll along the street and the gift store, it was quite fun to take pictures and tour around the area. Worthwhile to make a visit. #calgary #alberta #drumheller
