Nitobe Memorial Janpanese Garden vividly illustrates Japanese gardening philosophy. The garden is dotted with small waterfalls and lazy koi in ponds. It is chosen to visit in spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. At that time, the cherry blossom avenue in the center of the campus is colorful. The same is comparable to Japan; in addition, there is the Rose Garden at the northern end of the main road, full of roses, and students often come here to read books and have picnics between classes.
