The weather was amazing as well and we took some photos on the top deck of the cruise while enjoying these wonderful sights. Romantic Trip of a lifetime..

Halong Bay is best appreciated by cruise - either day trip or staying overnite on board. The trip started with a small boat transfer to the cruise boat. Greeted by friendly staff, the trip started with a cool towel, a welcome drink and a briefing. Then enjoyed the view of the karst limestone from your room or the upper deck. After a seafood lunch - kayaking in the bay area allows us to be closer to nature. Watching the sun set from the upper deck and a good dinner ends a great day in Halong Bay. Which cruise to choose? Depending on your needs, budget and time. Mine - Small cruise (large cruise can be noisy) ala carte meal ( managing what we can or can not eat) and room with Balcony and Jacuzi (perfect for our anniversary)

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 On the final part of our UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay cruise tour~We had The Sunset Cruise Party💛 Basically Happy Hour on the cruise with snacks and wine/cocktails while viewing the stunning Sunset in the sea. I was able to capture the beautiful sunset while on the cruise, I love sunsets and the colors it brings, one of the delights of nature. Heaven on Earth: Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Located just 2 hours east from Hanoi, Ha Long Bay offers an incredible mix of enormous caves, towering islands and pristine waters to enjoy. My personal favourites were the Surprising Cave (you’ll be surprised by it’s size!) and kayaking. I did a 1 day tour with Cozy Bay Cruises and I cannot recommend it enough. Most companies also offer 2D1N and 3D2N overnight cruises. Booking is easily done through Klook or your hostel/hotel. Booking through a tour usually means a 7am pickup at the Hanoi Old Quarter and a 9pm drop off, leaving you a good 10 hours to enjoy the bay.

One of my favorite locations in Vietnam — amazing Ha Long Bay. It's a truly unique natural spot. Ha Long Bay can offer spectacular views! Emerald Colour waters, islands and many caves. You can go on boat day trips or stay on boat overnight. The sunrises and sunsets look gorgeous. Also you can go kayaking and swimming. Halong Bay Cruise

If you decide to visit Halong bay during your stay in Vietnam, you can book 1 or 2 day’s cruise including a transport from Hanoi, in any of the tourist agencies around the city. Trip from Hanoi to Halong bay is around 2.5 hours. Once you get onto the boat, depending if its luxury or regular cruise, you will be served lunch and drinks, after lunch you can go to upper deck to enjoy gorgeous limestone mountains raising up from emerald waters. Halong bay is also part of UNESCO World heritage site so that s one more reason to visit this place. On the tour you will stop at TiTop island (named by Soviet Union Cosmonaut) where you can swim or go for a hiking tour around the island. Next stop is Sung Sot cave on Bo Hon island. After a climb of about 200 steps you will enter largest and most visited cave with a reason. It s absolutely beautiful. Cave is about 500 meters long and around 30 meters high. It was first found by French in 1901. And it s definitely one of the best part of the journey. At the end of the day you will have about an hour to do some kayaking and enjoy nature from the water :) And for the end of the day my recommendation is to grab a drink, go to upper deck and enjoy the sight of limestone mountains while the sun is setting down. A glimpse of Ha Long, Vietnam at Sun World

Getting There - From Hanoi, just take a ride of a "Limousine" service going to Ha Long City straight to the Hotel you are booking. From Hotel, if staying, you may ride a taxi or book a motorbike good for 24 hrs (~ 200K VND) or straight directly to the Sun World Ha Long Bay Complex. Attractions - Present is the aerial view of Ha Long Bay while riding on a cable car from entry to the other side where you can see and visit some of the places shown in the photos. Hotels - You may ride on any of the nearby hotels around the bay. In our case, we stayed at the Diamond Luxury Hotel near the rotunda that displays time from around the globe. Food & Restaurants - There are a lot of restaurants and food stalls along the bay and near the hotel where variety of options are also available. The hotel also offers food for the guests upon order. Shopping - In the area where we stayed. There is a mall (Vincom Plaza) that you may stroll around. Just look around the area. There are a lot more to go for shopping. Hall of Known People in Ha Long

Have you ever seen or met known personalities across the globe like Bruce Lee, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Mother Theresa and many more? Sun World offers you the opportunity to visit the Hall of Fame (I don't really remember the actual name of it.) where you can have a photo opportunity with these people through their life-size wax replicas. They are coming from different categories such entertainment, religion, Guinness record holder, leaders and the like. My experience with them was very memorable. It was one of a kind.
