I went to this temple when the moon was full in August, so here are some of my visit experiences here. The temple is quite dark and many places have changed, but you can take pictures. On the fifth day, you can make a trip to visit here and go to the Chinatown market because they are in the same direction.
When we first saw the photos of Giac Lam Pagoda, we knew we have to see it during our stay in Ho Chi Minh City. We weren't disappointed! It looks just as beautiful and original as on the pictures. What is interesting, this temples is one of the oldest in Saigon. It is very peaceful and relaxing place that is definitely worth visiting.
It is also one of the famous Buddhist buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. It is very old and has a certain exotic atmosphere outside the scope of Chinese architecture. The surrounding traffic is not very convenient, so walking or renting a car is a better way to travel. The biggest highlight here is the many beautifully carved Buddha statues in the temple.
Jue Yuan Temple is one of the famous temples in Ho Chi Minh City. It is famous for its numerous Buddha statues and different shapes. The ancient buildings with carved beams and painted buildings, the vigorous and powerful large-character plaques, and the lush ancient woods all together constitute a quiet and elegant picture. There are many beautifully shaped Buddha statues in Jueyuan Temple, including the solemn and amiable Buddha statues and the amiable Guanyin Statues of Bodhisattvas, four mighty statues of heavenly kings, etc. Interestingly, the most famous treasure here is an ancient bridge, which was a gift from the Nguyen Dynasty to the monks of the temple.
