Photos of Xueye Lake

Previously known as Xueye Reservoir, Xueye Lake is north of downtown Laiwu City. Built in 1985, it is one of the largest reservoirs in Shandong Province. Xueye Lake is ringed on three sides by mountains and has a wonderful landscape. Ma'an Mountain to its east and Xuanyang Diaogu Mountain to its west are under development. The lake is apt for breeding various freshwater fishes. This attracts many foreign visitors from Jinan and Zibo to Xueye Lake every year. A fishing competition has been held by the Sportfishing Association of Shandong Province in Xuehu Lake for three consecutive years.
