A parking area is set up at the boundary between Kushiro City and Tsurui Village, about 500 meters north of Kushiro City Marsh Observatory. It is a spot where you can easily stop by by car, and you can enjoy the scenery of the vast marsh in front of you. The location is Hokuto, Kushiro City. By the way, it is confusing because there is an observation spot called "Hokuto Observatory Garden" in the middle of the wooden path of Kushiro City Marsh Observatory.

From the Kushiro City Marsh Observatory, run hundreds of m north on the Tsurui Teshikaku Line, and there is a large parking lot beside the road. If you park your car in this parking lot, you can see the vast Kushiro Marsh from the edge of the parking lot. The view is not much different from the Kushiro City Wetland Observatory in angle, but this is free and you can park your car and see the vast Kushiro Wetland in 0 minutes, so if you just look at it, it is a recommended place.
I was surprised at the scenery that was completely different from the marsh I first imagined. There was a charge from the second floor of the facility, but I was disappointed with the contents of the exhibition that were not worth paying for.

Since I visited in winter, it was a pity that it was a brown world with no flowers or greenery. There was a charge from the second floor of the facility to the upper, but I was disappointed with the contents of the exhibition that were not worth paying for. The facility may only use the toilet.
If you go north on Route 53 from Kushiro City, you will find the Kushiro City Marsh Observatory, and the roadside is a parking zone soon after that. Beside this parking zone is the Hokuto Observatory. Most of the cars pass by, not particularly tourist spots, but this is located on the western edge of Kushiro Marsh, and you can overlook the magnificent Kushiro Marsh, which is several times larger than the Yamanote Line.
Excellent
We weren't sure what to expect and we were extremely pleased that we walked here. It was a lovely walk and excellent lookout point.
