Worth the trip up the tower for the view
As other reviews mentioned, the castle is now a smaller footprint of its former self. You can move through all the various buildings and see views of the city and surrounding area. The exhibits are w...
Nice small castle with optional guide.
The castle is quite small but you can spend there nice hours by attending two optional guided tours each about 30min or just walk around yourself. From top of black tower is wonderful view to city.

Nice Castle, not so overrun with tourists
Beautiful view down the park, interesting exhibition of torture instruments. Long history, nicely documented. You need about 30 minutes to see the place. Nice walk from the center of Cheb.
