Ocean Village is located in Ocean Township, Lingchuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi Province, 45 kilometers away from Guilin City and directly accessible by the Guihai Highway. Haiyang Township is known as "the first township of Ginkgo biloba in the world". The township has 27,000 old ginkgo trees and 1 million new trees, with an annual output of 800,000 kilograms of ginkgo. The per capita ginkgo possession ranks first in the country at the township level. On November 9, 2006, Lingchuan County held the unveiling ceremony of the "Ocean Ancient Ginkgo Ecological Expo Park". It is a fruit tree-shaped natural scenic tourist area.
