Aquarium of the Pacific Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Aquarium of the Pacific 🐠✨
The Aquarium of Pacific is very cleaned. The animals are easy to see and very beautiful. The tanks are so well kept. I also enjoy reading all of the signs and having a better understanding where the animals live and where they are located. 👣
Get to see varities of fishes, Sea lion, seals, penguins, sharks, sting rays and you get to touch sting rays which was fun. They have volunteers who explain about these animals. I spent around 3 hours. The staff members were super sweet and kind to the kids. They answered all questions in the best and most interesting ways to keep the kids wanting to know more. 👀
I would absolutely go back to the Aquarium of the Pacific. It's such a fun place to visit. In the mean time I'm planning visits to all the aquariums in this world.

One of the must-visit places in California, USA is the Pacific Aquarium.
Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific
Located in Long Beach, California, Rainbow Harbor has 19 habitats and 32 exhibits, including a penguin habitat, an ocean exploration center, a shark lagoon, and an animal care center.
With over 11,000 species of marine life, representing 500 species, including threatened animals such as sand tiger sharks, giant sea bass, and olive ridley sea turtles. While Shark Lagoon and the June Keyes Penguin Habitat are some of the most popular exhibits, don't miss the smaller galleries, which showcase lesser-known ocean residents.
The Los Angeles Aquarium is divided into more than 30 sections, including display areas, boutiques, cafes and other facilities. There is also a place to watch videos of underwater life, with about 200 seats, complete information and rich content. Even if you are in the city, you can also enjoy Southern California and the beautiful ball game. In this huge aquarium, you can witness 12,000 marine animals and 550 marine plants living in 17 different habitats.
It has the highest quality floor-to-ceiling glass in the world, showcasing the entire ecosystem of the underwater world to people. Walking into the aquarium, life-sized whale models hang from the ceiling, and you can also see neon-lit coral reefs, which are as big as a room, with various fish swimming around. There are also many exhibition areas outside the aquarium building, including the Magellanic penguin breeding park, where you can see cute penguins swimming underwater and walking on land. The animal feeding pool where you can get close to the animals has many tidal animals, and children can watch these marine creatures on the southern coast of California up close.
Special activities include guest lectures covering topics such as global warming and saving sea turtles, which are rich and colorful. Get to know in advance the free Friday night activities suitable for all ages, held at the Shark Reef Lake, where you can have intimate contact with gentle bamboo sharks, other larger species, and rays. The aquarium's monthly night diving activities make Long Beach's nightlife even more exciting, with live bands, DJ performances, and other activities. Participants must be 18 years old or above.
The aquarium will dim the lights and project ocean waves on the walls at a fixed time every afternoon, giving people a feeling of being in the underwater world. There is a shark lake on the second floor terrace, but not the kind of fierce sharks. Visitors can touch the skin of the sharks with their fingers. There are also performances by sea lions and seals, which are especially fun. The souvenir shop is very large, and there is a machine at the entrance that can turn coins into commemorative coins that you like, which is very interesting. There is also a shrimp restaurant for Forrest Gump and Bubba at the entrance. If you can't taste it in Santa Monica, you can also try it here.
One, Tropical Pacific Pavilion
Most of the animals exhibited in the Tropical Pacific Pavilion come from the coast of Guam and Palau, with the largest water tank in the aquarium - a tropical reef habitat with a water capacity of 1.3 million liters. Many species of animals, such as land turtles and leopard sharks, live there. In addition, there are various seahorses, sea dragons, and sea snakes.
2. North Pacific Pavilion
The temperature in the North Pacific Pavilion is relatively low, with a focus on the wildlife of the Bering Sea, including sea otters, giant Pacific octopuses, diving birds, and seabirds. In addition, there are also Japanese spider crabs, various jellyfish, and sea anemones.
3. South Coast Botanic Garden
The Southern California Aquarium has a rich local marine ecosystem, with the first display case containing about 540,000 liters of water, home to marine life near Catalina Island. There is also the Amber Forest Exhibition Hall, as well as the California Bay Exhibition Hall, which houses blue tangs, porcupinefish, and other species. In addition to these, there is also a sea lion habitat and bird conservation area with a capacity of over 800,000 liters of water.
Four, Explorer's Bay.
This section is the outdoor area of the aquarium, simulating a real small bay, including shark reef lake and parrot forest.
🕙Business hours:
9am to 6pm.
💰Average cost per person:
Adult 189
Child 166
One thing that needs special attention is that the Los Angeles Aquarium is closed during Christmas and from April 7th to 9th every year. If you want to go there for fun, be sure to avoid these two time periods. In addition, parking outside the aquarium is relatively expensive, but you can get a free parking ticket with your admission ticket. You can consult the ticketing staff before purchasing tickets.

Elegant Italian Village, Naples Island Canals
#mytripvlog
#MeetLosAngeles
Name after the Italian city Naples, the Naples island of Long Beach is one of the most beautiful luxury residential communities in Los Angeles. Most of the streets of the island have Italianate names. The island is divided by canals into three islands and opens into the bay.
Similar to the Venice Historial Canals project, here is an Italian Village.
Here is a popular weekend hot spot for its romantic sunset gondolas, elegant home-lined boardwalks, beautiful oceanfront views, and trendy restaurant rows in downtown Long Beach, a few blocks away.

Long Beach, a port city in southern Los Angeles, is the third busiest port in the world. The environment here is very good. I feel especially suitable for the elderly to come for vacation. The sand on the beach is very delicate and running on it feels very comfortable.

Naples Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
A small attraction around Los Angeles: Naples Island
Long Beach City, belonging to the Greater Los Angeles area, is the fifth largest city in California with a population of 500,000. It also has the world's tenth largest throughput port in Long Beach.
Transportation:
Driving from downtown Los Angeles, about 40 minutes drive to Long Beach, suitable for self-driving tour of the United States.
!! Recommended spots:
1Naples Island: The wealthy area of the United States, every household has its own private yacht, parked on the canal surrounding the island. Turn around and you will find it is a very clean and tidy community. On weekends, you can also see many residents who are rowing on the river.
2Coastal Aquarium Park: There is a white lighthouse in the park, very high. There is also a cruise ship dock nearby, sitting on the lawn in the park for a while, it seems that the ships that come and go are also a pleasant thing.
3The Pike Outlets: Not the kind of large outlets, which mainly sell some intimate brands, H&M, F21, Columbia factory store, Gap, Converse, Nike, etc. There is also a white Ferris wheel in front of the mall.
Parking: Go to the park and go shopping and stop to park near the Pacific Aquarium. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is recommended to stop at the parking lot of Mother Beach in Naples, with a lot of parking spaces.
Los Angeles niche attractions:
want a unique trip to Los Angeles, recommend a place that is absolutely niche and has no tourists, Naples Island, Los Angeles, the city of Long Beach. It is a wealthy area with yachts and it is very comfortable to walk along the riverwalk. When the weather is good, how to shoot is a blockbuster.
