Very nice hiking area!
Very nice walking/hiking area, good trial signs and lots of educational signs! It is pretty close to the highway so there is a lot of road noise on the trial. Still very enjoyable!!
Very nice grounds and very expansive with different types of flora. Choice of multiple walking paths; one suggestion would be benches along the routes for short rests. Fair amount of highway noise...
There are several well-maintained gardens at this experiment station. The rose garden is the best known. Admission is free. You can drive to each garden and park nearby.
If you have extra time in Baton Rouge you should visit this gardens. It is a working experimental station so you could drive around. It has an Old Farmers Village that is nice to see.
Shockingly close to 110, Perkins Row, Our Lady of the Lake. You pull in, start walking and forget you really are in the city. We were lucky to be there on a bug-free day on the cool side, which made t...
