Xingkai Lake is located on the Sino-Russian border 40 kilometers southeast of Mishan City. It was originally a Chinese inland lake. After the Sino-Russian Treaty of Beijing was signed in 1860, it became a Sino-Russian border lake. Now my country accounts for one-third of the waters, and the rest are in Russia. Xingkai Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast my country. "Xingkai" is a Manchu language, meaning that water flows from a high place to a low place. The entire lake is slightly oval in shape and is fed by nine rivers. The lake water overflows from the northeast and flows into the Ussuri River. To the north of the lake is Xiaoxingkai Lake, all within China. There is a sand bar about 1 km wide between the two lakes, which connects together when the water rises. Xingkai Lake Scenic Area includes Dangbi Town, Lotus, Xinkailiu, Flood Gate, Dragon King Temple, Honey Mountain, Golden Beach and other major scenic spots. The tourist season of Xingkai Lake is usually from May to September, and from December to March of the following year, the lake will be closed seasonally, and many attractions will be missed at this time. Dangbi Town is located at the west end of Xingkai Lake and is one of the main scenic spots in the scenic area. It is adjacent to the national land port "Mishan Port", where you can see the world's smallest boundary bridge "Bailing River Bridge", and you can also see the lake in the lake. Play in the water or soak up the sun at the beach. On the northeast side of Dangbi Town, there is Baipaozi Township, which is also adjacent to Xingkai Lake, and the lakeside scenery here is more authentic. There are also many important attractions in Xingkai Lake Township, which is located in the north of Xingkai Lake. Here you can go to Xingkai Lake Wetland Park to enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch migratory birds. You can also go to Xingkai Lake Museum to learn about local geology and culture, and visit new Cultural relics of the Stone Age - Xinkailiu Cultural Site.
