Liuku is located in Lushui County, Nujiang Lisu Ethnicity Autonomous Prefecture. It is the site of the prefecture government, and is famous for its "bath meeting" during Spring Festival holidays every year. Liuku is close to the Biluo Snow Mountain on the east and the Gaoligong Mountain on the west. Passing through the city, the rushing Ru River divides Liuku into two parts, which are connected by the Nu River Bridge (highway bridge) and the Xiangyang Bridge (walking bridge) above the river. Built in 1970, the Xiangyang Bridge is a must-see for tourists. In addition, Liuku has other attractions such as the ancient kapok, the local yamen, the Great Buddha Temple, and the Mabu Hot Springs.
