Observatory opposite the visitor center is recommended
Original Text
At the visitor center, you can see the origin of the Sarobetsu wilderness and photos of the animals that live in it, and there is an observation room on the 2nd floor where you can see the Sarobetsu wilderness. It is recommended that you go up to the observatory across the road to overlook the Sarobetsu plain from a high position. There is a walking path in the visitor center, and it takes about 10 to 20 minutes for a round trip, and the road is flat, so it's good to take a walk.
A wooden path was maintained around Naganuma on the back, which was ideal for nature observation. An explanation board for various flowers was also installed. Wild birds were also able to observe carefully because the cypress and sesame trees were singing actively on the top of the tree.
The size of the visitor center is smaller than the facilities in the rich town. However, in the center, the vegetation and birds of the Sarobetsu field, and the situation of the wetland plants in full bloom at this time (posted as Horobetsu, Sarobetsu, flowers, and NEWS) are briefly shown. I thought it was a facility that was easier for travelers and beginners than the facilities in the rich town with high expertise. The adjacent observation path is also well maintained, and a movable explanation tag is built right next to the plant which is the point of the time.
It is more compact than the Sarobetsu Marsh Center. The 2nd floor of the center is an observation room overlooking the marsh. The walking path of the wooden path is in good condition, and it is a little over 1 km to the observatory near Naganuma. There are many explanation versions, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll. The Yachimanako observation deck was interesting. There were many wild birds, and it seems that the scallops were just in the nest, and the parent birds have been threatening flights many times. Somehow, I smiled.
It is located in the middle of the Great Plain and has an outstanding view from the observatory. You can overlook the lakes and swamps in the marsh and Rishirifuji. Only the stairs can climb the observatory.
