The Zodiac Pagoda, also called the Twelve Pagoda Temple, is located in Tongwang City, with a total of twelve small pagodas. The reason why it is called the Zodiac Pagoda is because each pagoda is carved with different animals, similar to the Chinese zodiac. Enter from the Victory Gate north of the east gate of Tongwang City, follow the road straight to the front of the War Elephant Steps, and in the bushes directly opposite is the Zodiac Pagoda. For many tourists, this place is often a pass. You can stop by after visiting the War Elephant Steps. The twelve ancient red clay pagodas lined up in a row are abstract in shape, and after years of wind and rain, it is impossible to see what the animal carvings on them look like. In fact, the use of the Zodiac Tower has always been controversial. Some say it is used to imprison and judge prisoners (use poisonous snakes to identify criminals), some say it is to guard the central square of Tongwang City, and some say it is a tower and a tower. In between, wire or rope bridges were pulled, and artists were put on it to perform shows for the king, and so on. You might as well go into the tower to see, study, and guess. Today's Zodiac Tower is extremely desolate, and it depends on the regular maintenance of the Cambodian government to prevent it from collapsing. These towers are dotted with dilapidated war elephant steps under the shadow of the woods, forming a vicissitudes of life that is worth recording with a camera.
