After a Spanish friend introduced, I finally chose the small Mediterranean city of málaga. It takes 2 and a half hours to arrive by high-speed rail from Madrid. The small city is surrounded by mountains and sea, retaining the medieval and Arabic style. Take the 35 bus to the top of the mountain and overlook the panoramic view. Then walk down the mountain to the city pedestrian street, la alcazaba just below the mountain, across the sidewalk is the beautiful port.
