    Interesting, but a long haul from Salta

    Interesting coloured rock formations in the valley. Worth a visit if in Salta, but if short on time, we would suggest the drive down to Cafayate instead.

    stunning colours on the way to Purmamarca - don't forget to stop for photos

    Amazing rock formations/strata on the right just before you get to Purmamarca from Salta. You can just stop on the main road and take a pic or two.
