Tianmen Mountain is the highest mountain in Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, 8 kilometers north of the city, named after the natural wonder Tianmen Cave, the earliest famous mountain recorded in history. The main peak 1518.6 meters, was approved as a national forest park in July 1992. Form a rare world wonder so far Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Cave is worn north and south, the door is131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide, 60 meters deep, and it is like a gateway to the sky. It has been named Tianmen Mountain since then, and it has a history of 1754.
