Nice place to go for a lookout and good for people who likes driving. 1 hr drive from Sydney.

Figure Eight Pools

#australiatrip A great hike through the Royal National Park. The walk down from the car park is fairly easy. Wear proper footwear as you will need to climb on some rocks to get there. No toilets, must bring plenty of water and always take away your rubbish with you! It was disappointing seeing the empty water bottles and wipes left behind from inconsiderate people. The walk back up is a little tough, but the views are all worth it! Magical spot

This lookout is a must do in Wollongong area! It gives you outstanding panoramic views. On a good day you can see all the way to Cronulla and even on a rainy or hazey day the atmosphere feels magical! Can't recommend this spot as a picnic spot or a walk enough!
