Located right next to Tashi County Food Street, it's very convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean, the facilities were comprehensive, the service was attentive, the atmosphere was great, and the value for money was excellent. It was a great choice.
I've stayed here many times. It's right by the airport, and the price is reasonable. The front desk staff are friendly, and they even offer airport drop-off in the morning, which is great. It was a really good experience. Next time I'm in town, this will be my first choice.

It's 2 AM, and I can't sleep after writing this review in the courtyard, so I just got up and sat here. The night in Liuxing Street is so quiet, with only occasional dog barks and distant lights. The moon hangs above the apple tree.
I've stayed at this hostel for three days and will be leaving tomorrow. There are some things I want to write down before I forget.
First, let's talk about hygiene. I have a peculiar habit: the first thing I do when entering a room is to feel the tabletop and windowsill. And truly, it was spotless. The floor is wood-grain tile, and walking barefoot on it felt perfectly clean. The bedding was freshly changed and smelled warm, like it had been sun-dried. There wasn't a single hair on the public restroom floor, and the trash cans weren't emptied only when overflowing. What touched me most was that the cups in the wash area were placed upside down in a sterilizer cabinet, for guests to use. Yes, a sterilizer cabinet.
Location: It's in an alley in Liuxing Street, but very easy to find. Turn right out of the door, and a small alley leads directly to the main street. To the left is an old residential area, perfect for aimless wandering. It's about seven or eight minutes' walk to the Alexander Accordion Museum and also to the famous ice cream shop. If you, like me, enjoy walking and exploring small alleys, this place is a paradise. There are three bus stops nearby, making it convenient to go to Kaxgar and Hanren Street.
Service: The front desk staff was a girl with a ponytail, and her voice was soft. It was drizzling when I arrived on the first day, and she handed me a dry towel to wipe my hair. When I came back late at night, I found a message on the small blackboard at the entrance: 'There's yogurt in the fridge, help yourself.' I thought it was for a fee, but when I asked the next day, she smiled and said, 'It's free, we worry you might get overheated in this weather.' When I left, I forgot my power bank, and she chased me down two alleys.
Facilities: The beds are incredibly stable; the bunk beds don't wobble. Each bunk has a curtain, a light, two power outlets, and a small shelf, perfect for a phone and glasses. The common area has a water dispenser (with both hot and cold water), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a toaster. There's also a washing machine that can be used by scanning a QR code. The most pleasant surprise was a small bookshelf with not many books, but a few picture books about Ali, which made me want to visit Mount Kailash as I flipped through them.
Atmosphere: Unlike some hostels that deliberately force social interaction, the atmosphere here is very natural. In the evening, someone played the Dombra in the courtyard, while others just listened quietly. There was an older gentleman who had just returned from a pilgrimage, his feet still swollen, sitting on the steps drinking sweet tea, and no one disturbed him. Occasionally, people would strike up a conversation, also in soft voices.
I'm sitting in the courtyard now, and the evening breeze is a little cool. The moon is bright, and I can see the shadows of the clouds.
I'll probably feel a bit reluctant to leave tomorrow.
But it's okay; I know I'll be back.
The night of Liuxing Street, the dream of Mount Kailash, and the gentleness of this little courtyard all remind me why I'm always on the road.
Positive reviews:
This stay was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, fully equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back next time.
The hotel is in a prime location, making it convenient for travel. The room was pleasant and soundproofed, and the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend it!
The service was incredibly attentive, including a small gift upon check-in. The room was warmly decorated, the facilities were new, and I felt very comfortable staying there.

The location is excellent! It's just a few bus stops from the train station, or a short taxi ride away, and it's not far from the city center. As soon as you enter, you can feel the backpacker vibe. The first floor is a common area with a lounge for relaxing on sofas and watching TV, and an entertainment area with a pool table. After checking in, the staff gives you sheets, slippers, and even a bottle of water (so thoughtful!). I was amazed when I entered the room – it's the largest hostel room I've ever stayed in, with a private bathroom and lockers for your belongings. On the third floor, you can hang clothes and even sit on the balcony to enjoy the breeze. I have to mention the group tours; the hostel organizes daily trips to Sayram Lake and Kuerdening Grassland. Their tour leaders are incredibly well-rounded (they know all the best places to eat, play, take photos, fly drones, drive, play instruments, and provide emotional support). Yining is a place you'll want to visit again, and Backpacker's Decade is definitely the place to stay when you're there. For backpackers, it's the absolute best choice for a trip to Yining!
This stay experience really exceeded expectations! The location of the hotel is particularly convenient, you don't have to worry about eating and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the sheets were spotless, and the bathroom did not have a smell. The front desk lady was super enthusiastic and checked in and checked out very quickly. Sleeping at night is very quiet, not noisy at all, sleeping very soundly. I will definitely choose this one next time I come here, I must have five-star praise!
Some distance from the train station
The front desk just came for three days and asked to find a room with windows for a long time. This experience is not good.
General facilities, general location, general environment, there is a bus stop next to it, it is better.

Environment: Nice environment and atmosphere. I met some new friends here. The owner is also very friendly and enthusiastic. He introduced the surrounding environment. Facilities: Washing machine and kitchen are available, which is convenient for drying clothes. Service: The service is also good. When it's time for dinner, the owner will prepare the meal and invite us to eat together. I really felt the strong atmosphere of the youth hostel! Location: In the scenic area, far from the city center

Highly recommend this hotel! It's on a really high floor with massive panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an incredibly expansive view. The room gets amazing natural light during the day, and at night, you can sit by the window and take in the city skyline – the atmosphere is just perfect. The location is absolutely fantastic, super close to the train station, just a few minutes' walk away. It's incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains, so you don't have to wake up early or rush with your luggage. The room itself is clean and tidy, and the environment is quiet, not noisy at all. My stay was a perfect 10, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

Perfect
NnbclockThe location of the homestay is excellent, and the decoration is very unique. When you open the colorful windows, you can see the most authentic life scene in Kashgar downstairs: children playing, residents taking a walk, and the Western Princess's performance of seeking a husband. It is very quiet after midnight, which is conducive to sleep. The proprietress knows life very well, exudes a philosophical flavor, and her singing is also very beautiful😊
AAnonymous UserI'd like to highlight the pros of this hotel from several aspects:
1. **Great Value:** The price is affordable, offering excellent value for money.
2. **Prime Location:** It's very close to attractions, just 50 meters from the west entrance of Kashgar Old City and a mere 150 meters to the famous Century-Old Teahouse – incredibly convenient.
3. **Excellent Transportation:** Getting around is easy. A ride-share from the airport costs only 15 yuan. If taking public transport from the airport, you can catch bus No. 2 to Sizhong Bus Station, then transfer to bus No. 6 or No. 20 and get off at China Telecom Station. From there, turn left and walk back about 100 meters to reach the hotel at Kumudaiwazha Road No. 76. If coming from the train station, take bus No. 20 to China Telecom Station, cross the pedestrian bridge, and you'll find the hotel at Kumudaiwazha Road No. 76.
4. **Dining & Amenities:** There are many local ethnic restaurants surrounding the inn; you just need to walk downstairs. A notable perk is the abundance of fruit vendors below the inn, selling fresh and inexpensive fruit.
5. **Facilities & Environment:** The hotel is well-equipped, clean, and tidy, with a pleasant environment. The staff's service is particularly outstanding. If I ever visit Kashgar again, I will definitely stay here! And I'll certainly recommend it to any friends visiting Kashgar!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very comfortable! The location is great, and they offer a shuttle service to the ski slopes every day. Overall, it was fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! I spent a long time choosing a hotel and finally picked this one because it had absolutely no negative reviews! I went there with the thought, 'How can a hotel have no bad reviews? I have to see it for myself!' After staying, I truly think it's wonderful 👏. The room had a view of the ski slopes! Plus, there's a bathtub so you can soak every day after coming back 🛁! And there are two cats you can pet!
GGuest UserGood reviews! The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the magnificent Pamir Plateau scenery of Tashkurgan County as soon as you go out. In the morning, when you open the window, the sun shines on the top of the continuous snow-capped mountains. The picture is so beautiful that it is suffocating. Here, you can enjoy the unique natural scenery of Tashkurgan County while lying in bed. This experience is great!
GGuest UserThe entire place was impeccably clean, and housekeeping tidied our room daily. The bedding was soft, clean, and odor-free. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was plenty of hot water available 24/7, making for a really great shower experience. Definitely worth a stay.

GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.
(Check the other reviews here, for a picture of the gate/door to the building)
The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We left something behind and they kept it for us and called us back. Thank you so much! The room was clean, the environment was nice, and the facilities were complete. I'm looking forward to staying here next time!
PPupuzhangThe owner was incredibly kind, almost to the point of being embarrassing. They helped us store our luggage in advance and even carried our suitcases upstairs during check-in. When we came back in the middle of the night, they even let us use a different room to shower, and they didn't treat us any differently just because we booked a special offer room. Their hospitality really made me feel much more positive about this city.
The inn is conveniently located not far from the entrance of Liuxing Street and also close to the bus station, making it very easy for transportation and transfers. This was especially convenient after a long day of sightseeing; being able to walk straight upstairs after strolling down Liuxing Street, even past midnight, was a huge plus.
The hallway and room have a nostalgic feel, reminding me of guesthouses from my childhood. The air conditioning and walls, however, are very new.
I could tell they take hygiene seriously from the bathroom; the cleaning supplies were very comprehensive.
SSoulful Traveler 心靈行旅# Shanshan Kumtag Desert Luxury Hotel: A Tender Secret in the Deep Desert
The desert is lonely, but at this luxury hotel on the edge of the Kumtag Desert in Shanshan, that solitude becomes a poetic experience. Golden sand dunes undulate silently, like the breath of the earth. Here, time slows to a crawl, and the world becomes nothing but the desert, the starry sky, and the throbbing of the soul.
The tents, nestled in the desert, look like an ancient caravan camp from afar, but upon closer inspection, the interior reveals a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Soft carpets and understated yet sophisticated lighting create a perfect blend of desolation and comfort. In the evening, we soaked in the hot water in the open-air bath, watching the sunset paint the dunes a rouge hue. In that moment, it felt as if the entire desert whispered to us.
Dinner that evening was a feast we could never have imagined. The lamb short ribs, simmered for 36 hours, are tender yet not mushy. The tendon is crisp, and the aroma of ginger and chili dances on the tongue. The ox knee is soft and flavorful, and the rich tomato sauce is like a love poem from the Western Regions. The spiced aroma of the flatbreads and roast chicken carries the flavors of merchants and travelers from thousands of years ago. I can't help but wonder if in ancient tents, kings, princes, and generals sat together, drinking tea, eating meat, and discussing the country.
After dinner, we drank tea under the stars. The cool desert breeze blew against our faces, but we didn't feel cold. The stars in the sky, distant yet close, seemed like the most gentle gaze on travelers. That night, the desert was no longer empty, but filled with our dreams and romance.
